RESULT OF REAL ESTATE APPRAISERS BOARD EXAM LAST JULY 31, 2011


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released today (August 3, 2011) the result of the Appraiser’s Board Exam held at Manila, Cebu, Baguio and Davao cities. Out of 955 aspirants only 541 made it (or a 56.6 % passing rate).

This is history making being the first ever board exam for appraisers under RA 9646 – administered by the PRC. The previous exams were under the auspices of the DTI.

From Iligan City, we have five candidates – all of which made it.

1. Merlito Castor Catolico

2. Basilisa Mabascog Bacala

3. Michael Pabilona Bito-on (No.8)

4. Jamalludin Marohombsar Alonto (No.8)

5.Raul Palacios Quijano

    Several Resolutions for Appraisers has already been published since last July to December 2011. I suggest you verify with the PRC your application status – maybe there are some documents still required.

    I have for example some friends who are previously licensed brokers from the DTI and tried to avail of the “grandfather clause” of RA 9646 – but until now their ID and COR is not yet released due to problems with some of the papers they submitted (ie,.. birth certificate names, etc…).
